Our experienced captain and tour guide, Sakis, a passionate native of Patras, came to the island many years ago for a better quality of life. After a week of vacation in Zakynthos, Sakis was so enchanted by the beauty of the island that he returned to Patras, packed his bags, sold his thriving business, and took the leap to call this paradise home. With a heart full of love for his new home, Sakis embraced his calling as a tour guide, sharing the hidden gems and breathtaking views of Zakynthos with visitors from all over the world. His passion for showing visitors the beauty of his home, combined with his love of the sea, took him to the next level, launching first this company with his friend, and finally leading the company Galazio Private Boat Tours alone to become what it is today.

In 2026, the friend of Sakis found that he could not give the time to the company that he wanted due to the work he needed to do in his family restaurant and so Sakis continued the journey with the rest of the team, renaming the company Galazio (meaning light blue in Greek) to better reflect the vision of the company and the beauty of our island.
